How long can ear mites live?

Ear mites can normally live up to 21 days from eggs to adults. The female ear mites normally lay about five eggs throughout their life span.

The ear mite eggs normally hatch on the fourth day of incubation. After the egg stay they will turn into larvae. The larvae feed for four days straight, then rest for one and molt into a nymph. The nymphs feed for about three to five days, then rest and molt into the adult ear mite. We do offer treatment for earmites and the environmental products.
