Staph infections in humans and pets?

I have a staph infection on my leg that I am currently on antiobiotics for. My question is whether my dog or cats can get it from me?

They can get and sometimes are carriers. Its not uncommon for families to pass infections like strep-throat from pet to human, and back to pet and become an ongoing problem. Get well.

From what I have heard at work. Most staph infection is spread from contact with your nose, or open cuts, scrapes.

As long as you keep your hands clean, and bandage any sores, And just do light petting should be ok.

I did have one dog who got it, don’t know just how but it is very bad for them. Take care.
