Vet treatments that do not work.

Tuesday, January 27th, 2009

I wanted to share a new testimonial that we received from one of our customers. As the Customer Service Manager at Q-Based Healthcare, I am so happy my team is able to help customers with cat ringworm everyday. It makes for a very rewarding career. Here is what she wrote.

“Just wanted to let you know our story regarding a kitten we received from a Humane Society here in Washington State.

We brought this kitten home and noticed within a week a skin problem by her ear. We originally thought she had scratched herself, but as the week went on we realized that there was something wrong. We couldn’t get her into the veterinary clinic until Monday and by the end of the weekend we knew we had a problem. Monday, the veterinarian confirmed that she had ringworm. She sent us home with topical medication, and told us that we needed to get an oral medication also that had to be received from a compund drug pharmacy in our town. The visit to the veterinary came to a total of $17.92. The vet didn;t charge us for the office exam.

We came home and started the topical medication, and by Wednesday we had the oral medication, which came to $76.11, and gave it to our kitten. Yes, it helped, but new spots continued to come. We ordered a refill of the oral medication, another $76.11, and also went to the vet clinic and purchased another $17.92 in topical medication.

At this point, we were getting pretty concerned as it was spreading quite rapidly. I got on the internet and found your company and my husband said to order whatever. So, I ordered RW Super Pk for Small Breed Cats at the cost of $72.20 which included the postage. The day before Thanksgiving we received our order and started it right away. We could see a difference within two days! We continued the treatment and she was totally cleared of her ringworm in about 10 days. Fantastic!

I have also ordered XTREME CLEEN and I am cleaning as much of the house as possible. We have a grown daughter that has an immune disease and it is a concern of hers and ours that she doesn’t get ringworm as it could have a very harmful affect on her.

Thanks for your product. We would definitely recommend it to anyone. Wish we has known about it before we spent $188.06 on medication that didn’t do too much good. ”

This was sent to us from Andrea T. in Edgewood, WA.

Mange Immunity Booster

Friday, January 2nd, 2009

Mange is a very serious topic to talk about. The majority of our calls are from pet owners about mange. When I hear pet owners talk about mange, it makes my heart go out to them. As we know, our pets are a part of our family and our best friend. So when our pets get sick, you can feel their pain as if they were your child. They are part of our family. If your pet has Mange, their immune system is usually very low and they may have to fight other illnesses such as staph infections while also dealing with a mange mite infestation, so we have a product that helps to give your pet strength and can be used for cats and dogs, it is called PetsBestRx Mighty Vites. It is better known as a defense immune booster vitamin against sickness. We take pride when our pets are out going and active and very healthy. When taking these mighty vites, you can rest assured that the pet is on the way to recovery. I tell all of my customers about mighty vites especially when their pet has mange. Just to let you know the mighty vites is not just for mange it is used for any type of sickness or as a daily supplement to build the immun system or regain the luster in your pet’s coat. Our product is safe and  has natural.  One common cause of a lowered immune system in dogs or cats is stress.  Unlike people they can’t tell us what they are feeling.  This product can also help with toenail growth and with the bones tissue and other things.  I like this product because your dog can be less than 20 pounds and still use this product.  It also has different vitamins in it that can help with growth.  We all want our pets to be healthy and grow old. Besides our Mighty Vites, we do have other products that work for mange or on other types of sicknesses or diseases. Especially our pet wash, it can be used if the pet has a smell or just to heal sores.  Watch and see how your dog would love the petwash. Even though they can’t talk, they respond to the pet wash really well. We are not veterinarians, however we do have several vets that use our products for treatment, mainly we love to educate people and help with trouble shooting tips. We ask that you give our products an honest try and within seven days of receiving the products give us a call so we can see how the pet is responding to the products.

Pet Allergies

Thursday, December 11th, 2008

A lot of customers tell me that the pet likes the Pet Wash and comes to them for more of it.  Especially if the pet has a smell you can use the body wash at least 5 days straight and not dilute it.  That’s how powerful it is.  What i like about our product(petwash), it comes in many different sizes, starting from 16oz to a gallon and even as a 5 gallon. You may say wow a 5 gal. but yes many people buy the 5 gallon.  The body wash can also be used to help with infections and condition the skin and the coat. We have many other products that can be used for pets and humans. Our pet line is the healing and protection spray and the pet wash. Be very careful about putting the pet wash on cats, because it is highly concentrated.  So if you wish to you can, but it’s not recommended unless it is diluted four parts water to one part wash. The pet wash is very soothing and most dogs love the bath. Another product that is really popular and can be used for many types of problems, is our Sulfinex cream.  This is veterinary strength and can be used on cats and dogs.  I like the fact that it attacks fungus.  All of our products are non toxic and safe around children and pets. When you think of the word, repair, it means to fix something that was either torn down or need to be worked on. I like our products because most of the ingredients are natural.  Many customers call us for help due to their pet having skin problems, because we have pet care products they are happy.  Especially that we can help with the dog or cat skin problems.  All of our products for dog or cat skin care cure are listed on the website and even some of our customers have sent in photos of the before and after pictures of when the pet started using our products. Being new to the company  I am learning everyday and helping educate the customers at the same time.  Most of the time we let the pets live in the house mainly cats. It is very important to learn all about these type of things because your pet is the one that is suffering.  They can’t say help me, or even try to reach for medicine and take it by themselves.(That would be nice) but not in this life time.

Ringworm Symptoms

Wednesday, December 10th, 2008

Ringworm in cats, ringworm in dogs, rabbits or other animal is a fungal infection, not an actual worm. Many pets owners don’t realize what ringworm really looks like and will usally bring their pets to the Vet for diagnosis. Here is more details on how ringworm usally form. They usually appear as a small pimple-like growth that can begin growing into a scaly or crusty, red, raised area that sometimes can cause blisters and pustules. Hair around the ringworm areas can become thin and brittle in turn causing hair loss and bald spots in animals. As the ring start to grows, the center of the rash will usually turn into a more normal skin color, and you will be able to see the ring-shape or almost circular-shape.

Here are some of the most common symptoms of ringworm in animals:
Sometimes a patche of hair loss, matted wools, discoloration, crusty, thick lesion, pustules, thickened, red, oozing skin, if hair growth happened, it might grow back black, scarring can occur, hair becomes brittle, and swollen lesions.

As a CSR at Q-Based Healthcare, it’s very typically to get a call about ringworm in cats and dogs. Most of the customers that have pets with ringworm have either treated with something over-the-counter, an athlete’s foot cream or prescription from the vet. Many found that what they are using is not working or just keeping the ringworm at bay. Some even say the medication that they used caused the ringworm to spread. As I have tried to explain to many customers the medication cannot spread the ringworm, it’s the spores of the ringworms that spread if not treated correctly.
Many people have tried home remedies such as tea tree oil on their cats not knowing that this is very toxic to them. Some use sulfur based products that are made with HARSH yellow (lime) sulfur that STINKS and STAINS. Pet owners are required to use gloves and use in a well ventilated area, (Yellow sulfur is very corrosive to skin and can cause serious injury) it is also not recommend for small animals under 12 weeks of age.

What PetsBestRx use as their treatment is the White sulfur (Methyl Sulfonyl Methane)-it’s safe, non toxic, and non-staining, plus has a pleasant smell to them as well and they do not contain tea tree oil. This method has been proven to be 98% effective. Another product that is used in conjunction as a double protection is our Healing Spray/Infection Protection Gel which has anti-fungal properties to attack many fungal strains deep in the dermal layers. Beside the actual treatment, please remember that the treatment of your environment is also very important to sanitize to eliminates any spores, otherwise, you might constantly have ringworm outbreaks from one pet to another or even yourself. Good Luck!

What is Ringworm in pets

Wednesday, December 10th, 2008

Ringworm is a fungal infection, not an actual worm itself. Many people get confused when they hear about ringworms. Human, animals including cats and dogs can also get ringworm.  The best prevention for ringworm is to disinfect anything that you are not familiar with -especially, if you are in public areas.

I have to say that ringworm is contagious but in rare cases, some people are immune to it and will never get ringworm-this goes for both human and their pets.  I know this from my own experience with many customers and pets as well.

I also notice that ringworm in cats and ringworm in dogs is very common. Cat are known to be the ringworm carrier which sometimes they don’t even have any symptoms, but guess what if you have a cat and one day you start popping out with ringworm sores, you better get your cat a treatment for ringworm.

Let me just tell you about some of the pet’s owner that I have spoken to whom have dealt with ringworm on their cats. Anita was one of my favorite customers. She owns a cat name, Precious who somehow contracted ringworm sores on her back and one right on her face.  Mrs. Anita who sounds like she in her 50′s was worried dearly for her cat when she found out that Precious have cat ringworm. Of course,  I could understand her point, she doesn’t have any kids and lives alone with just her cat.

One day, Precious started to have these pimples on her back, but within a few days, it starts to form like a circular, raised, red shape with normal skin tone in the middle. She didn’t know what it was so she decided to bring her cat to the Vet. The Vet automatically diagnose Precious with ringworm when he saw her. Mrs Anita was freaked out -she have tried questioning the Vet to learn more about it. All the Vet told her was it’s a fungal infection and to put Precious on some topical creams, and advise her if Precious is not responding the cream, he will try to put her on oral medications.  Unfortunately, Precious did not respond well to the ringworm treatment at all, within just a few days, she started popping out with more ringworms on her face.

Mrs. Anita was so frustrated and decide to browse online for an alternative topical Ringworm Treatment  that is cheaper and affordable, but yet effective. She called and talked to me, while I guided her through it. Yes, she did ask me many questions and I gave her all the answers. She also wanted to learn about the horrible side effects the oral medication can do to her cat if she chose to go that way. She was tearing while talking with me for possibly saving her cat’s life. I suggested for her the superpack, the complete kit that contains hospital Grade disinfectant to eliminate the ringworm spores in her environment. She was very excited to try our products, and sure enough, 10 days later, she called back and said the ringworms on her cat had cleared up. She thanked me over and over again.  I just love my job and I love helping people just like Mrs. Anita. You can click here to view our pet website.

Mrs. Rodger’s Ear Mite Relief

Wednesday, December 10th, 2008

My name is Demetria and I would like to share the experience I had with one of our customers. Mrs. Rodger’s is treating both her cat and dog for an ear mite infestation and have been for the past six months with vets medications which sadly did not work. Mrs. Rodger’s purchased our products and within a week of usage she has seen a noticeable change with her pet’s symptoms. They were constantly itching and scratching at their ears and face which caused open soars and they also had an awful smell coming out of the ears.

With all those symptoms, I suggested for Mrs. Rodger’s to purchase our Ear Mite Super Size Pack which includes a 8oz of the Mitactin spray to kill the mites in the ears and body if needed and it included a 8oz bottle of the Healing and Protection Spray for killing bacteria infection  and healing open soar. The pack also include a 32oz De-Stroy Eco Dust Powder, which can be used on the dog’s coat, the carpet and pets bedding to kill the mites. I also suggested the Disinfectant Spray for the areas she chose to get rid of the earmites daily such as the couch, chairs, upholstery and hard surfaces as a contact killer for the mites. I also suggest that Mrs Rodgers try our Mighty Vite’s to boost her pets immune system but she already had some of her own. I also suggested she separate the pets to avoid re-infestation and that she also disinfectant their bedding daily. After completing the order, I request a call back from Mrs. Rodgers five days after she began treatment for update. She also was advised that she could call before that if needed to.

Mrs Rodgers was so excited that she could not wait five days to call me. She called me within three days after she began the treatment to advised me of the improvement she noticed. Mrs Rodger’s advised me both Queen (cat) and King (dog) are doing much better the smell is gone from both of them and they are not scratching as much as before the use of the products. They are more active and are eating better and just look 100% better. She thanked me for my patience and knowledge about the products.

Helping customer like Mrs. Rodger’s and there extended family makes this profession most fulfilling. It makes me feel GREAT knowing that I made a difference.
