Mr. Wiggles and Mange Mites
Thursday, February 5th, 2009Mr. Wiggles is a gray, short haired Chihuahua that has been a part of the Jones’ Family for five years. They were extrememly concerned about Mr. Wiggles’ health because he was losing his and and had open sores from scratching all the time. He was not sleeping or eating as he used to. This was putting a strain on the whole family and they needed to get him some itch relief. It had been an issue for them for the past year and after thousands of dollars in vet bills and medications to treat several different diagnosis and treatments. They finally decided to contact our company and try our mange products.
Mr. Wiggles was experiencing a lot of the symptoms of mange in dogs. I suggested for the Jones’ to try one of our mange treatment kits and our immune booster vitamins. He had a septic smell to him so they started his treatment by bathing him for five days straight to erradicate any bacterial infection from his skin. Mr. Jones called me several days into the bathing and vitamin treatment to let me know how much better his skin was looking and how Mr. Wiggles was playing around a lot more.
Mr. Jones called me again a couple of days later and was very eager and excited to continue the treatment with the rest of his products. It was now time for them to start treating with the PetsBestRx Mitactin Spray and Sulfinex Cream. I informed him to spray Mr. Wiggles lightly with the Mitactin Spray on the first day and then to apply a light layer of the Sulfinex cream the next day but only in active areas. He repeated these steps daily, once in the morning and once at night for the first week. I told Mr. Jones to make sure and contact me if he had any other questions and to let me know the progress of his dog’s mange treatment.
The first week’s update was filled with tears, joy and excitement. The mange products were working very well for them and Mr. Wiggles was back to his playful and energetic self again. The open sores and lesions were healing and he was no longer scratching. Mr. Jones and his dog were both sleeping a whole lot better at night. Mr. Jones called again on the third week of treatment to let me know the hair was finally growing back. He was so excited they finally found something that actually worked for them.
