Pet Staph Infections can be really difficult to get rid of. Many of pet lover’s have experienced the displeasure of battling a pet staph infection.

Angela from the UK wrote us, “My female 14month old has been suffering from Staph and another bacteria since prob. february and has been mis diagonsed on quite a few occasions.  She has been on antiboitics to kill the bacteria and it has succeeded on one but has left staph behind.  We have had some improvement for the lumps are still there and a few of them breakout in the bleeds and scab over her hair has grown back but you can see the tuffs of fur on her sides where the lumps are she has bald patches on her elbows but generally she is a happy dog.  We are meeting with our vets to discuss the way forward and was wondering with your experience could you maybe shed some light and let us know if you think your product might help us get rid of this staff that been with her for so long.”

It is extremely important to pick the right treatment and follow through. Following through with a pet staph infection treatment is key when battling staph. Facts to Know About Pet Staph Infection

Monday, January 11th, 2010

What is Pet Staph?

Staph infections are common bacterial infections of the skin of dogs and cats. They infect the outer skin of the dog as well as the hair follicles of the fur.The direct cause of the infection is a bacteria called Staphylococcus.

How can a dog / cat get Staph infection?

The easiest way for your dog or cat to get a staph infection is from an exposed open wound not properly disinfected or from the result of constant scratching due to ear or mange mites. The insatiable itch your pet feels when they suffer from mange or ear mites can lead to excessive scratching and the dirt and bacteria collected on your pets feet and nails will enter an open wound and lead to staph infection.

Can I prevent my pet from contracting a Staph Infection?

You can take steps to ensure your pet’s environment is properly disinfected and they are bathed regularly with a anti-bacterial pet wash. It is important the disinfectant used to clean your pet’s bedding, kennel and living quarters is safe and non-toxic. You don’t want to clean with a product that could be deadly to your pet if they lick it or breathe the fumes. We reccommend the products offered by PuraCleenRx.

PuraCleenRx offers a concentrated formula, Xtreme Cleen, that when diluted goes a long way especially for the pet owners with multiple pets and offers a safe, reasonable cleaning solution for breeders and kennels. One gallon of Xtreme Cleen can make 64 gallons of disinfecting solution tested and proven effective when eliminating the Staph bacteria from the environment.

Dogs with Mange and Bacterial Infections

Wednesday, April 8th, 2009

David called in stating he wanted to order our products for his dog who was diagnosed with Mange by his vet. He said he had been researching for days on the web looking for a company that specialized in treating animals with demodectic mange. His dog had countless dips and was on antibiotics for a little over 2 years. He was at his wits end. He had a conversation with his sister one day about putting their beloved Roxy to sleep. She begged for him not to even let that thought come across his mind. She said that was their baby and asked how could he even think of doing something like that. David then stated it was only to take her out of her misery. Roxy wasn’t playing like she used to. Also her eating habits had decreased causing her to lose weight. So on the last day of his searching he Googled dogs with mange and infection and our site was the first site listed for him to choose.

David was very impressed with the content the website had to offer in regards to the pictures of different breeds of dogs. By the time he read all of the information on our site including the eguide. We offer the eguide to interested people which gives additional insight into the ailment you are inquiring about.  He did call the next morning and the 1st thing he said was “is this company for real and can your products do what it advertises on your webpage”? I simply answered him honestly with a yes to both questions.

The first order he placed was for our Mange and Mite Kennel Combo which includes the pet wash, the Sulfinex cream and the Mitactin spray. He also purchased the Healing gel to help with the secondary bacterial infection that his dog had been dealing with for quite awhile. I did have to customize a regimen for him to use for his dog which was for 5 days. He called me back on the 6th day of his treatment to give me an update. He was so upbeat that morning I spoke with him about how his dog didn’t have that terrible smell anymore and how her skin was actually starting to turn pink. David asked me how could the Mighty Vites help his Roxy. I told him that they would boost her immune system to help fight against those infections she was constantly getting and to help control her outbreaks of mange.  The last time I spoke with David he told me “Shellie, PetsBest has a customer for LIFE”! Pet Staph

Thursday, December 11th, 2008

I got a call one day from a concerned pet lover about her dog that was diagnosed with a Staph infection. She said the dog had been dealing with this off and on for a little over a year. The dog had been in the hospital for an ailment and every since getting out of the hospital the dog had been battling staph infections mostly under the belly area and in between the creases of his hind legs. She stated she was tired of taking her dog to the vet to only be given antibiotic after antibiotic which nothing worked. She says she got online one night after returning from a vet visit crying trying to find something to help her baby because she couldn’t see him suffer anymore. Once Mrs. K was on our webpage she opted to speak with a customer service representative through our live chatting system. Just so happened she got me and we started discussing treatments concerning her dog and if our products would really kill the bacteria infection without her dog having to taking anything orally. She said her dog’s symptoms were a greenish puss color substance coming from the sores on the dog’s under belly and had a really bad odor. I advised customer our products were very good, were non toxic and they would not compromise her dog’s immune system but that we also had a product that would give a boost to the dog’s immune system. She was very intrigued because her dog’s vet had been telling her the whole time that it would have to be taken care of with antibiotics. Her initial order was for the Staph combo for $39.95 which includes our Pet wash, Healing spray and Healing gel. Customer called in exactly a week later stating the smell had completely gone, the affected areas that were oozing with the green goo was now starting to scab over. Customer placed an order for our disinfectant spray and our Might Vites for her dog that day because she says she was scared that the product wouldn’t work and she didn’t want to start off buying too many products. Mrs. K says her dog now is more vibrant and happy, the sore areas are scabbed over and almost completely healed up after about 3 weeks of using the products. She says she mists the disinfectant spray daily on her dog’s bedding and favorite spot on the couch. She also stated that besides the products working for her dog and clearing up the staph infection she also loves that her dog is enjoying taking the vitamins because before he would eat all around any type of vitamins she would give him or she would have to force them down his throat.
