Demodectic Mange on Dog

A good effective Demodex Mange Treatment will depend on if your pet has Demodectic Mange or Sarcoptic Mange. Another factor on what Demodectic Mange treatment you should consider also depends on how severe the Demodectic Mange symptoms are. Finding a good Demodectic Mange and Sarcoptic Mange is basically a two step process. You can usually tell if your dog or cat has infection by just smelling your pet. If it has a septic smell, then it is most likely that your pet has infection. The skin is usually red and perhaps even raw.

You want to stop the infection as quickly as possible because if bad enough, the infection could get into your pets blood stream and your pet would then have to be treated orally with antibiotics. If your pet gets reinfested with mange mites or the pet is not treated, the bed cleaning will have to be repeated again and again until the pet is mange-free.
