Ivermectin, Mitaban and Lyme Dips for the treatment of mange mites can all be extremely detrimental to your pet’s health. All of these prescription mange mite medications for mange contain harmful toxins. Once these harmful toxins enter your pet’s system they can cause respiratory failure, cancer or even death in some cases.

There are many mange treatments prescribed by vets that can be toxic. A few of them are the mitaban dips, lyme sulfur dips and Ivermectin. Some home remedies for mange can also be very toxic. One in general is motor oil for mange. Using motor oil as a treatment for mange can be an irritant to the skin, cause infection and even death if entered in the blood stream.

Here at Q-Based Healthcare we offer safe and non-toxic products for the treatment of mange. To treat mange we offer the PetsBestRx Sulfinex Cream, PetsBestRx Mitactin Spray and PetsBestRx Pet Wash. The Pet Wash should only be used on dogs and not on cats. All of these products should only be applied lightly to the affected areas. Applying too much of the products can cause your pet’s skin to become irritated. If there is any left over cream or spray on the fur simply wipe it off with a paper towel or wash cloth. During your treatment you will need to alternate the Mitactin and the Sulfinex once per day every day. The treatment comes with an easy step by step regimen for you to follow. It will explain the whole treatment to you.

We do offer completely safe and nontoxic product to treat mange in your home. These products are our All Stop DE-Stroy Pest Control Eco Dust, PuraCleenRx Disinfectant Spray and PuraCleenRx Xtreme Cleen. The Eco Dust is a food grade diatomaceous earth that is effective against mange mites or insects. This product can be used on your bedding, furniture, or carpeting. The mange dust can also be used outdoors as well as in your vehicle.

Mange mites can survive without a host for up to 10 days before they must return for another blood meal. It is crucial to treat your pet’s environment for mange mites so they don’t become re-infested with mites temporarily living off of the host.

When you are dealing with mange, it is very important that you treat your environment. Mange mites can live off of your pet for up to ten days before they have to come back for a blood meal for their host. When your pet sleeps whether on the sofa, chair, bedding or the carpeting the mange mites transfer from your pet to the object they are laying on. The mites can then incubate there for up to ten days. If your pet goes back to that same spot which you know they will, the mites transfer from the object and back onto your pet for a blood meal. They sense your pet’s body heat knowing that a blood meal is waiting.

This is the reason it is highly important to treat your home for mange. Demodectic, sarcoptic, notoedric and walking dandruff mites are all guilty of coming back to reinfest your pet.By treating your home you can help with re-infestation of mange mites on your pet. In order to treat your home for mange mites you can use the All Stop DE-Story Pest Control Eco Dust. This is a food grade diatomaceous earth that is effective against mange mites or insects. This product will break the exoskeleton of mange mites causing them to dehydrate and die. This product can be used on your bedding, furniture, or carpeting. The mange dust can also be used outdoors. The consistency of this powder is similar to baby powder. You can also disinfectant your environment. We offer our PuraCleenRx Disinfectant Spray which is a ready to use hospital grade disinfectant cleaner. We also have our PuraCleenRx Xtreme Cleen which is concentrated cleaner that is diluted for spraying, mopping and laundering. This product must be diluted properly before usage.

Yes. Any areas your pet may inhabit need to be treated including bedding, kennels, and any carpet and furniture your pet may come in contact with.Treating the environment in which your pet with mange resides is crucial to completing eradicating mange mites and preventing re-infestation. This can be done using our All Stop DE-Stroy Pest Control Eco Dust or our PuraCleenRx Disinfectant Spray.

Yes it is suggested that you treat all over your home including furniture and carpeting for mange. Mange mites will transfer on and off of your pet during the mange treatment. They will burrow into your furniture, your pet’s bedding or your carpeting. They live up to about seven days off of the host without feeding before they will die. If you are treating your pet for sarcoptic or notoedric mange it is strongly recommended that you treat your home as well as your pets. These types of mange are highly contagious and can be easily spread to other pets. Sarcoptic mange mites can also bite humans. You may experience some itching, bumps and crawling sensations. The mange mites cannot burrow or reproduce on humans.

If your dog is diagnosed with demodectic mange, which is only contagious to that pet, it is still recommended that you treat the environment to make sure that the mites do not transfer from the objects back to your pet during treatment. We do offer our All Stop DE-Stroy Pest Control Eco Dust for the treatment of mange mites in your home and outdoors. It is to be sprinkled or lightly dusted. This product is 100% food grade diatomaceous earth so it will not harm you, your pet or your family. Our PuraCleenRx Disinfectant Spray is a ready to use hospital grade disinfectant that can be used all over the home to kill bacteria associated with mange mites. Our PuraCleenRx Xtreme Cleen is a concentrated disinfectant that can be used for spraying, mopping and laundering.

Yes. Although it is rare for a dog to transfer mange to a cog and visa versa, it is possible. Cats more commonly contract notoedric mange which is not a common form of mange for a dog to have.

It is possible for your dog to give your cat mange. Sarcoptic mange in dogs is very contagious and can spread to cats. Humans can also feel the bite and see bumps on the skin from sarcoptic mange mites. Mange mites cannot reproduce on humans so this is not compared to scabies. It may be a good idea if you are treating sarcoptic mange to keep your pet quarantined to prevent other pets becoming infected with mange mites. Mange on cats is called notoedric mange or feline scabies. This is in the same family as sarcoptic mange and is also highly contagious. Demodectic mange is hereditary from the mother and passed down to her pups. This form of mange is not contagious to other pets or humans.

We do offer our PetsBestRx Pet Wash, Mitactin Spray and Sulfinex Cream for the treatment of mange on your pet. These products will kill the mange mites and help to heal the skin as well. When treating for sarcoptic or notoedric mange it is highly important to treat your environment. Mange mites can live off of the skin for up to 72 hours. We offer our PuraCleenRx Disinfectant Spray which is a ready to use hospital grade disinfectant cleaner. We also have our PuraCleenRx Xtreme Cleen which is concentrated cleaner that is diluted for spraying, mopping and laundering. The All Stop DE-Stroy Pest Control Eco Dust can also be used to kill mange in your home. This product will break the exoskeleton of mange mites causing them to dehydrate and die.

Mange dips are known to be a successful treatment on a case by case basis. However, many forms of mange mite dips are highly toxic to animals because they contain a high level of mitacides. These can be extremely harmful to your pet’s health.

If these pesticides enter the blood stream through open wounds it could potentially lead to death and will at the very least make your pet extremely sick.

There are normally two types of dips that are used for the treatment of mange. One of these is the lyme sulfur dip which is made with lyme and yellow sulfur. The other type of dip is a Mitaban dip which is a pesticide dip treatment. Some of these dips are successful but some of these are not successful. Some of these dips can be very harmful and toxic to your pet depending on the level of miticides that are contained in the dip. If the miticides enter into your pet’s blood stream through and open wound or lesion it can potential cause death. We offer a safe, nontoxic, non-staining and topic treatment for mange mites on your pet.

We do offer an easy step by step regimen that comes with your package. If there is a septic smell present, this is a sign of a secondary infection or staph infection. When treating a dog with staph you need to first wash your pet with the PetsBestRx Pet Wash for five straight days or until the septic smell is no longer present. To treat a regular case of mange you would first use the Pet Wash and then you would need to alternate the Mitactin Spray and the Sulfinex Cream every other day to treat for the mange mites on your pet. The Mitactin Spray and the Sulfinex Cream are used lightly only to the affected areas. They do not require rinsing. If your pet licks the products it can cause them to have a stomach ache only just like eating toothpaste or soap.

Yes. Your pet can contract staph infection along with mange mites due to secondary infection caused by excessive scratching. It is important to keep all wounds clean and disinfected in order to prevent Staph infection from setting in when dealing with mange mite infestations.

Yes, mange can cause your pet to suffer with a staph infection. A main symptom of mange is intense itching. If your pet breaks the skin, this can cause an infection to set in. The faster you treat the mange on your pet the less likely they will develop a staph infection. We can help to treat your pet for staph and mange. All of our pet products are completely safe and non-toxic.

One sign a staph infection may be present is if you pet has a septic smell. If a staph infection is present on the skin, you must treat for the infection before your treatment for the mange mites. You want to treat the staph infection with our PetsBestRx Pet Wash. This product will sanitize the skin and push out any bacteria causing the infection.

If a staph infection is present, you should consider boosting your pet’s immune system to help fight the infection on the skin. You can use the PetsBestRx Mighty Vites as an immune booster vitamin to quickly get rid of staph on your pet. We do offer our PetsBestRx Pet Wash, Mitactin Spray and Sulfinex Cream for the treatment of mange on your pet. To treat mange you would first use the Pet Wash and then you would need to alternate the Mitactin Spray and the Sulfinex Cream every other day to treat for the mange mites on your pet.

Our All Stop DE-Stroy Pest Control Eco Dust is a food grade diatomaceous earth powder. It is made of crushed fossils of fresh water organisms and marine life. It is made to cut the exoskeleton of mange mites like shards of glass causing the mites to dehydrate and die and is also commonly used as a natural pesticide for gardening.

The All Stop DE-Story Eco Dust is commonly used for mites, parasites, insects, lice and bed bugs. This food grade diatomaceous earth is composed of fossilized fresh water marine life and organisms that have settled into lake bottoms over time. To humans and animals it is completely safe and non-toxic. This mange powder is made to be used all over the home on bedding, carpeting, mattresses and on flooring.

There are two main types of diatomaceous earth powder. These are food grade and pool grade. The food grade for is commonly called amorphous silica.

Our All Stop DE-Stroy Pest Control Eco Dust is a completely safe and non-toxic mange powder. It is also used in the treatment of internal parasites. If you pet licks a small amount of the powder it will not harm them because it is a food grade diatomaceous earth powder.

This mange powder is made to be used all over the home on bedding, carpeting and on flooring. You can put the dust on your pet’s fur directly and it will help with fleas or other skin parasites that may be on your pet. The Eco Dust can be used outdoors; if it becomes wet it will need to be reapplied. This food grade diatomaceous earth is composed of fossilized fresh water marine life and organisms that have settled into lake bottoms over time. If the powder is inhaled, it is similar to baby powder and when directly inhalation can cause irritation of the lungs. The All Stop DE-Stroy Pest Control Eco Dust does also come in a 32oz bottle, two gallon bucket or a five gallon bucket. You can also purchase this product with the Pest Pistol to evenly spread a fine layer of dust all over your home for mange mites. The food grade diatomaceous earth acts as shards of glass to insects, when they crawl or scratch through the powder it will cut their exoskeletons causing them to dehydrate and die. Therefore, the Eco Dust is very effective against mange mites but safe enough to be used around your children and your pets.
