What other animals can get ear mites?

Ear mites do not discriminate. They can be transferred from animal to animal contact or human to animal contact. The ear mites can get on your or your clothing; you pet another animal and transfer the ear mites without even knowing it.

We offer different product for ear mites. These are our PetsBestRx Mitactin Spray and our PetsBestRx Healing and Protection Spray. The PetsBestRx Healing and Protection Spray is made to clean out the debris from the ear and also to help heal any ear infections that may have been caused by the mites.

The PetsBestRx Mitactin Spray is used to kill the ear mites in the ear and dehydrate the ear mite eggs. It is suggested to use each of these products once per day and to use them at least thirty minutes apart from each other. It is also recommended to use a Q-tip to administer the treatment making sure to not go any further in the ear than the cotton tip. You should not pour or spray the product directly into the ear.

The longer the ear mites are left untreated then more damage it can cause to your pet including hearing loss. When treating for ear mites, it is also important to treat your environment because this condition is highly contagious. We do offer our All Stop DE-Stroy Pest Control Eco Dust to treat your home for ear mites.

It can also be used outdoors. This is a food grade diatomaceous earth powder that is completely safe to use around kids and pets as well as yourself. Your pet will not only have the ear mites on the ears. They can also have them on the face, paws or tail from transfer during sleeping.
