What is the life cycle of an ear mite?
The life cycle of an ear mite usually takes about 21 days from eggs to adults. The female mites normally lay about five eggs per day and the eggs normally hatch within four days.
At this point the eggs continue to molt into the larvae stage. The larvae normally feed everyday for four days straight and then the rest for 24 hours and then molt into the nymph stage. The nymphs normally feed for three to five days, rest for one day and then molt into an adult. Our company offers safe and nontoxic products to treat for ear mites. These products are proven 98.5% successful through trials and case studies.
Our treatment consists of the PetsBestRx Mitactin Spray which is designed to work against the ear mite eggs, larvae, nymphs and adult mites. The PetsBestRx Healing and Protection Spray with its antimicrobial properties will help to heal any open sores from scratching and also to stop the itch and irritation from ear mites.
We have two disinfectants we offer for ear mites. These are the PuraCleenRx Disinfectant Spray and the PuraCleenRx Xtreme Cleen. These are hospital grade disinfectants. The DE Eco Dust is a food grade diatomaceous earth that can be used indoors and outdoors when dealing with ear mites. This product will also work as a preventative for ear mites.
