Ear mites can normally live up to 21 days from eggs to adults. The female ear mites normally lay about five eggs throughout their life span.

The ear mite eggs normally hatch on the fourth day of incubation. After the egg stay they will turn into larvae. The larvae feed for four days straight, then rest for one and molt into a nymph. The nymphs feed for about three to five days, then rest and molt into the adult ear mite. We do offer treatment for earmites and the environmental products.

The PetsBestRx Ear Wash Treatment kills the ear mites and the eggs and larvae as well. The PetsBestRx Healing and Protection Spray is designed to protect your pet from getting a secondary infection or bacterial infection. It will also heal up any sores in the ear from scratching and relieve the itching of the ears. One of the products we use to treat your home for ear mites is our PuraCleenRx Disinfectant Spray. This is a hospital grade disinfectant spray which is a ready to use spray.

When treating for ear mites, it is also important to treat your environment because this condition is highly contagious.
