Are some animals more susceptible to ringworm than others?
Ringworm is spread by contact with infected animals or by touch objects that have been contaminated with ringworm spores. It takes about 10 to 14 days after contact to mature enough on the skin for you to be able to see it. Some common items that contain spores are bedding, brushes, grooming tools, saddles, furniture and rugs.
